Legend has it...  Robert Wooding Chappell from the crest of a hill had a commanding view of the rich land around him as well as the future. He'd set his tobacco plantation on this very spot, in the finest, most productive farmland in the area. From high above a neighborly little town, he'd quietly raise a distinctive, refined tobacco... Chappell Hill was born.

       As fate would have it, Chappell's vision became reality. The town of Chappell Hill thrived, and his enterprise was the only tobacco plantation ever attempted in Texas.

       One hundred-thirty years and many generations later, Chappell's dedication to quality lives on in Texana Cigars. Texana painstakingly selects the most flavorful tobacco leaves, farmed from Cuban-seed tobacco in the lush Jalapa Valley in Nicaragua to create a cigar to be savored. The result is a smooth, robust taste that can only be described as civilized....but you don't have to be Southern to appreciate that.
